PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BECAUSE IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS WHICH FORM A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND US. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE APPLICABLE FOR U.S. (including PR and USVI) AND CANADIAN TRAVEL AGENTS ONLY.

 

Eligibility for Enrollment

Avis Budget Car Rental (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Company”) operates a loyalty program we refer to as the Unlimited Rewards program (“Program”) which allows eligible travel agents to accumulate rewards, subject to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions” or “Program Rules”). We will refer to individuals who are eligible to participate in the Program, as described below, agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and enroll in the Program, as “you” or “your” or “Member”. You may not participate in the Program if doing so would violate your employer’s policies or if the Program is or would be prohibited or restricted by law. Travel Agents should check their employer’s policies before enrolling. A Travel Agent who has enrolled in violation of his or her employer’s policies may have his or her enrollment cancelled, his or her participation in the Program subject to termination without notice and any Program rewards accumulated shall be forfeited.

 

You must enroll in the Program and you must be a licensed travel agent in the U.S. (including PR and USVI) or Canada, be 18 years old or older, have a valid social security number (U.S. only) and have a valid ARC, International Air Transport Association (“IATA”), Cruise Lines International Association (“CLIA”), True ID, ARC, or Travel Sellers number in order to participate and be eligible to accumulate rewards in the Program. By enrolling in the Program, using the Unlimited Rewards Member Number assigned to you or by redeeming Rewards issued to you, you agree that: (i) you have read, understood and accepted these Program Rules; and (ii) you consent to the Company’s processing of data that is personal to you, and disclosure of such data to third parties, in accordance with the program’s Privacy Policy.

 

Travel Agents may only enroll on an individual basis. Corporations, businesses, and other entities may not enroll in the Program. Each individual Travel Agent is limited to only one membership in the Program and participation is nontransferable. Multiple account numbers belonging to a Travel Agent will be canceled, his or her participation in the Program subject to termination without notice and any Program Rewards accrued under any and all of such multiple accounts, whether or not issued, shall be void.

 

Eligible Travel Agents may enroll in the Program by logging on to the Enrollment section of our website at URL www.unlimited-rewards.com and completing the online Program enrollment form. As described in more detail below, once enrolled in the Program, you have the opportunity to accumulate and eventually earn Rewards upon completion of a Qualifying Transaction originating from a reservation booked through the authorized methods described below and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions at participating Avis car rental, Budget car rental and Hilton (each a “Program Partner”) locations. You must accumulate a minimum of ten dollars ($10 US) in rewards before you may receive an Unlimited Rewards Stored Value Card ("Card"), which is issued by a financial institution, whose Terms and Conditions govern redemption. The Company’s obligation to you is to issue Rewards earned in compliance with these Terms and Conditions to an unexpired Card. Once Rewards are issued to a Card, the Company has satisfied its obligations to you under the Program and your rights to redeem Rewards are subject to the Card issuer’s Terms and Conditions. Additional Rewards you accumulate prior to the Card’s expiration date will be issued to the Card as provided for below.

 

Eligible Transactions and Rewards

Members accumulate Program Rewards on qualifying transactions. A Qualifying Transaction is a booking made by a Member, not booked through any third party travel websites such as Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc., that includes a valid IATA, ARC, CLIA, True Sellers number or True ID and an Unlimited Rewards member number supplied in the correct format, that results in a completed transaction at a participating location. Not all locations participate in the Program. Once a reservation is submitted Unlimited Rewards member numbers cannot be modified and existing reservations cannot be modified to add a member number.

 

For Avis and Budget car rental, if there is a discrepancy in length between the booked transaction and the completed transaction, rewards will be awarded for the shortest period.

 

Members may accumulate Rewards from the Program Partners for completed qualifying transactions at participating locations as follows:

 

Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental: Program applies to participating Avis and Budget locations within the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand (not all locations within these regions participate in the Program);

Avis Car Rental only: Program applies to participating locations within the United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, France, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and Portugal (not all locations within these regions participate in the Program).

Hilton: Program applies globally to all participating locations.

Once enrolled in the Program, Reward schedules can be viewed, on www.unlimited-rewards.com by clicking on the “Earn Dollars” top menu bar of www.unlimited-rewards.com. You may access, verify and update your personal information by logging into your account.

 

Unlimited Rewards may run promotions to earn bonus rewards. For some promotions, in order to earn bonus rewards, you may be required to enter a Promotion Code by logging on to unlimited-rewards.com, and entering the code into the Promotion Registration box on the right side of the screen, then hit “Submit” button. Once a Promotion Code is correctly entered, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.. Active promotions will be available to view once logged in. If registration for a Promotion takes place after the date it started, bonus rewards will be applied from the date of Registering the Promotion Code. 

 

The modification of reservations not originally booked by an Eligible Travel Agent will not earn Rewards, is strictly prohibited and includes the modification of any reservations made through an online or self-booking tool (e.g. Concur). If a reservation originally booked via an online application or self-booking tool is modified to add your Unlimited Rewards Member Number, we reserve the right at our sole discretion, to terminate your participation and enrollment in the Program and you will forfeit any and all Rewards you may have accrued. We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies against you for violations of these Terms and Conditions. 

 

Reward schedules are subject to change at any time solely at the discretion of Unlimited Rewards. The Rewards structure is subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at the Company’s discretion, with or without notice. The number Qualifying Transactions required to accumulate a Reward may be substantially increased, any Reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any Reward or reward redemption ("Reward Redemption") may be imposed at any time.

 

The Company and its Program Partners have the right to change, limit, modify or cancel the Program Rules, Rewards and reward levels at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of Rewards, or the ability to obtain certain Rewards. The Company and its Program Partners may, among other things: a) increase or decrease the amount of Rewards received for a Qualifying Transaction or required for a Reward; b) withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any Reward; c) add blackout dates, limit the type of services or participating locations eligible to accumulate Rewards or otherwise restrict the continued availability of Rewards; d) change program benefits, Program Partners, participating locations served by the Company or its Program Partners, conditions of participation, rules for earning, redeeming, retaining or forfeiting Rewards, or rules governing the use of Rewards; e) change or cancel its Program Partner Rewards. In accumulating Rewards, Members may not rely upon the continued availability of any Reward or Reward level, category or tier. 

 

Additionally, the Company has the right to terminate the Program by providing written notice to its Members ten (10) days in advance of Program termination. In that event, the right to accumulate Rewards and redeem Rewards may end six months after notification, no matter the extent of Member participation in the Rewards Program. The Company may terminate the Program earlier in whole or in part in any jurisdiction(s) if required to do so by applicable law. 

 

Account information can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by logging on to www.unlimited-rewards.com with your Email and Password.

 

Rewards will display in your account on unlimited-rewards.com every week for Avis, Budget and Hilton.  Rewards will post to your prepaid card monthly.

 

 

REWARDS EXPIRATION POLICY:

  • You must be an active participant in the Program in order to earn accrued rewards. You will be considered inactive if you have no Qualifying Transactions within twelve (12) consecutive months. You can reactivate your enrollment with a new Qualifying Transaction within 23 months of becoming ‘inactive’. If after 23 months of becoming inactive, you must re-enroll in the program.  If you had earned a prepaid card and were inactive due to a lack of Qualifying Transactions for twelve (12) consecutive months, and the Card is not expired, rewards will be posted to that card. If any Card provided to you expires while inactive, you will be required to earn a ten dollar ($10) U.S. minimum to receive a new prepaid card.

     

  • An Unlimited Rewards Member may use the Rewards issued on a Card at any time prior to the Card’s expiration subject to these Program Rules and the Card issuer’s Terms and Conditions. Rewards (and the permission to use such Rewards) expire on the Card expiration date. Funds available for payments to merchants when Unlimited Rewards Members redeem Rewards are, at all times prior to such merchant payments, the property of Unlimited Rewards; Rewards are not transferable by operation of law or otherwise to any person or entity.

You will be required to adhere to the Terms & Conditions of the Program transaction requirements to remain active in the Program.

 

Earning Rewards For Car Rental

 

Budget

To earn Rewards for Budget rentals in the GDS, enter "ZD" followed by your nine (9) digit numeric member number ("Unlimited Rewards Member Number") in the Supplementary Information / SI-field (e.g. /SI-ZD123456789) of your booking format in the GDS. Once a reservation is submitted, Unlimited Rewards member numbers cannot be modified and existing reservations cannot be modified to add a member number.

 

Book online at www.budget.com or www.budget.ca and enter in Step 4 of the reservation your 9-digit Unlimited Rewards Member Number (do not include the “ZD” car code with your Unlimited Rewards Member Number) with a valid IATA, ARC, CLIA, True, Sellers, or True ID number.

 

Avis

To earn Rewards for Avis rentals, enter your Unlimited Rewards Member Number into the Avis car rental booking format of each reservation you make through the GDS exactly as indicated below. Once a reservation is submitted Unlimited Rewards member numbers cannot be modified and existing reservations cannot be modified to add a member number.

Avis and Budget

Some corporate accounts with Avis and Budget Car Rental are not eligible for Program rewards.

To determine if the account booked receives rewards, log in to unlimited-rewards.com, go to and click on the link for Avis and Budget Car Rental Corporate Accounts, then enter the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number or Budget Corporate Discount (BCD) number for the account.  Eligible corporate accounts are subject to change without notice.

 

Earning Rewards For Hotel Partners

For Hilton reservations, Rewards are only earned on completed hotel stays and are awarded per stay. Any bookings for hotels which have left Hilton portfolio after the booking was made but before the stay is completed, do not qualify. Rewards can be earned via any GDS or online via www.travelagents.hilton.com.

Travel Agents must enter “ZD” followed by their Unlimited Rewards Membership Number or assigned PIN in the Supplementary Information / SI field of a GDS reservation or the Unlimited Rewards field at www.travelagents.hilton.com (e.g., ZD123456789).

In order to ensure that your rewards are recorded as qualified bookings for this program, please make sure to include ZD in front of your Unlimited Rewards member number when booking your reservations. Any new reservations entered and consumed with ZD followed by your member number will be processed for reward payment. Please refer to the Unlimited Rewards FAQ “About Hilton” for further information.

 

I am missing earnings for my reservations:

Reservations originating from a self-booking or online-booking tool are not eligible to earn Rewards.

 

I entered incorrect booking formats during my reservation.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process rewards for reservations that were not booked correctly. To be fair to all members, we need to abide by the terms and policy of the rewards program.

 

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

You enroll and participate in the Program at your sole risk, and you are fully responsible for your enrollment, participation and the receipt and use of (or inability to use) any award, Reward or benefit in connection with our Program. By enrolling in the Program, you agree to indemnify, release and hold the Company, Program Partners and its and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns, harmless from and against any claim, demand, threat or action that may arise out of or in connection with the Program, the earning of Rewards, your enrollment, participation and your acceptance or use of any award, Reward or benefit you may obtain or have available to you in connection with our Program.

 

We do not make any representations or warranties whatsoever with respect to the Program, the services provided by the Program Partners or any award, Reward or benefit you may obtain or have available to you in connection with the Program. It is your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide and we obtain (or fail to obtain) in connection with your participation in this Program. We are not responsible for errors including, without limitation, lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incorrect or incomplete communications, transmissions, or technical failures in connection with enrollments, transactions (including without limitation, Qualifying Transactions), inquiries, or any other type of communication and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, even if it is determined our systems or procedures or any other act or omission on our part caused the error.

 

We have the right, without providing notice to you, to adjust or recapture Rewards issued to a Card that were issued in error or not accumulated in accordance with these Program Rules. You agree to comply with and be bound by the National Automated Clearing House Association’s (“NACHA”) Operating Rules and Operating Guidelines.

 

Regardless of the form of action or the basis of the claim, under no circumstances and in no event shall we be liable for: (a) any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages of any kind in connection with the Program and/or these Terms & Conditions; and/or (b) for any direct, compensatory or other damages in an amount in the aggregate, in excess of actual provable damages or $100, whichever shall be less.

 

You also agree not to interfere or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Program in any manner or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the information we hold about you or anyone else participating in the Program. You agree that you will not use the Program in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Program or the Program Partners, or interfere with any other person’s participation in the Program. Disclosure of your information will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

Pre-Dispute Resolution Procedure

Before asserting a claim in any proceeding, you and the Company agree to give the other party written notice of the claim to be asserted 30 days before initiating a proceeding and make a reasonable good faith effort to resolve the claim. If you are intending to assert a claim against the Company or a Program Partner, you must send the written notice of the claim to: Unlimited Rewards, Inc., 6 Sylvan Way, Parsippany, New Jersey, 07054 Attn: Legal Department/Marketing. If the Company is intending to assert a claim against you, we will send the written notice of the claim to you at your address appearing in our records.  It is your responsibility to ensure you keep this information up to date. NO SETTLEMENT DEMAND OR SETTLEMENT OFFER USED IN THIS PRE-DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS MAY BE USED IN ANY PROCEEDING, INCLUDING AS EVIDENCE OR AS AN ADMISSION OF ANY LIABILITY OR DAMAGES (OR LACK THEREOF). 

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and all claims relating to or arising out of the Program, whether sounding in contract, tort or otherwise, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New Jersey, without regard to New Jersey’s conflicts of laws rules. 

 

Dispute Resolution - Arbitration

You and we agree that any dispute between you and the Company or the Program Partners arising under or related to the Program or these Terms and Conditions can only be brought in binding individual (non-class) arbitration to be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"). If, for any reason, AAA is not available, you or we may file our case with any national arbitration company. You and we agree that the exclusive venue for such arbitration will be in Parsippany, New Jersey, U.S.A., and you waive any and all objections on the grounds of lack of jurisdiction, and/or forum non conveniens or otherwise to the exercise of such jurisdiction over it by any such courts. Neither you nor we have the right to arbitrate on a class action basis any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the Program or these Terms and Conditions, or the interpretation, enforceability, performance, breach , termination or validity thereof, including without limitation, this arbitration clause.

 

Stored Value Card Terms & Conditions

Once you accumulate a minimum of ten ($10) U.S. dollars in Rewards, you may be entitled to receive an Unlimited Rewards Stored Value Card ("Card"). The Card and all Rewards issued to the Card are subject to the Program Rules. The Card will be mailed to you once it has been earned and awarded. Canadian members will accrue rewards in U.S. Dollars which are converted to Canadian Dollars at time of award; the conversion rate is updated and applied at time of award transfer to Card.

 

Members within the U.S. will receive a Visa Prepaid Card. Members within Canada will receive a MasterCard Prepaid Card.

 

Your Card expiration date is embossed on the Card. If you are an active Member having met the $10 threshold without becoming inactive, approximately two (2) weeks prior to your Card expiration, you should receive a new Card with a new expiration date.  Active members in the US with a Visa card  will include any balance carried forward.  

 

Members with an American Express card will not receive deposits to their Card after February 2018.  For those members who have an American Express card that has expired they can contact American Express for a replacement card if they believe there was a balance left on the card.

 

For inactive U.S. Members and all Canadian members, any dollar rewards must be spent before the card expires. The Card Terms and Conditions apply to all remaining Rewards on the Card.
